Sunday, Lovely Sunday/SNAG
Finally, things are slowly coming together in this new world of ours except for the alerts. I'm still using dashboard plus my updates on my blog list. The privates are in my favorites. I blundered today while updating my blog list and deleted the whole darned thing...grrr. Had to do it all over again. One thing I don't like is the fonts. I like comic sans. LOL...minor, I suppose. Funny how we get used to certain things.
For those that have been asking about Becky, she is doing much, much better. An adjustment of meds, actually less than what she was taking, and something to sleep without panic attacks is helping tremendously. Megan came home yesterday to work a 12 hr shift at E&P. She had us howling with her tale of taking Becky out Friday night. It's almost like Megan is the big sis. They met a group of Megan's friends at a small pub near Megan's university. Becky was a nervous wreck but they ended up taking a cab home. Big Sis was the DD but ended up having some fun, for once. What a blessing that Megan ended up having to move with her big sister this semester. Who would have predicted??????
My 3 went to their Aunt's for dinner today (my ex's sister). It was her hubby's birthday. They just invited my children plus her hubby's son, who's Becky's age. Actually, he and Becky are very good friends. I keep trying for a love connection here. So, anyway, the BF and I went to Target, Walmart and then out to eat at a little local pub that has scrumptious steak salads. It was so good to spend some time with him. He is doing very well but still has to take it easy. It was a month on Friday since his surgery.
We had some gorgeous weather today...sunny and actually warm. I walked to the salt dome that some of you might remember I posted pics of but took the long way around to get home. Ya think I'd have lost some weight with all this walking. I think it's about 5 lbs or so at most.
I need to feed Grizzly and take him for his walk. Betty, I promise I'll get a picture of the old boy soon. He is really getting gray. Have a great week and hang in there....we're learning and growing together.
