Opinions Puhlease

Because I make huge graphics, I have to use a stretch template. I have tried several backgrounds from cute blogspot.com but they just don't jive with the minima stretch's.

Are you all having trouble reading this thing???? LOL...my old eyes are plus I think it looks way too busy and doesn't fit right. Of course, this one isn't as bad as the lower ones but still.....

What do ya think? Scrap the background and go back to white???

Honest answers wanted.....Huge hugs, CHRIS

I can read it fine so it is up to you ;) I used to make bigger graphics all the time and since coming here I just keep them at 400x400 always or less. Really it is a pain, but what do you do? lol I hope you had a great weekend!

I think because you DO make such amazing graphics that a white or plain background would be a better canvas on which to display your work. Since you asked!

I can read it...much better then some I've seen but I was going to write something like Heather said. I think the white background makes your tags pop and don't get lost in the entry :)
love ya

I used the Tekka. It was white but I changed the colors. I wanted room for my photos, most important for myself. lol The 3 col. cut off my photos. Have a wonderful week and in my prayers daughter and BF. Hugs, Janie

I have to agree with Ellie!

Personally, I think because your graphics are so amazing they stand out so well on the white background.

BUT, I do like it as it is too ;)

Here's a hint. Go to:

http://www.pyzam.com/toys/view/bgcreator

You can take any picture you want (have to make it mega huge) lighten it and make your own background to go with the stretch template.

It's so easy to use on your blog to, you just do the gadget thing with html load the code and your set. It's something to try. Took me several tries to get what I wanted.

In this case it's just easier to have a test blog to try it on before you make the changes on your own blog. You can get creative with whatever picture you try. Just make sure to lighten the image before you upload it to the Background maker. Click Transparent and centered. Hope this helps..(Hugs) Indigo

Another thing that helps is to make your type bold and use dark colors so it's easier to read...k, I'm done now *winks*...(Hugs)Indigo

The background is good. I do like bold, big writing because I'm blind. LOL! I can read yours fine. It looks great, Chris.
Love ya, Pam

I've also used the cutest blog on the block, and had to look for a while to get what i want and just adjusted my font, yours looks nice and is readable, if your not happy with it it's easy to change, but this is fine.

I can read it but when I scroll up it's harder to read if I let the words go over graphics.

I couldn't use any of the cool templates sites offer. I have to use the Blogger one "Minima Stretch".
It's the only way i can add photos at full size. The layouts that sites offer make that center table where the entries go, skinny.

I do find with all the pretty backgrounds that the text is hard to read around the edges. It would be a shame though if you have to change back to white because it`s really pretty.

It's all up to you girlie...I like either or...I can read this just fine... I used one of the cute layouts on cutestblogsontheblock...or whatever...but I also played around with it...and in the template section clicked minima lefty stretch...so that my graphics wouldnt get chopped off...

I'm sure I will change my layout as often as i do my undies...lol

I do love playing on here to see what all i can and cannot do...

HI, I was just looking at your blog and thought I'd send a comment. I like it but it is hard to read on the edges...maybe fit the words in the center more because that's easy enough to read there....the font gets a little lost in the patterns on the edges for me. Hope you find the perfect style that you are comfortable with..I'll be visiting.......I love the music you are using! Maria
